Designing Web Sites for our Clients is Easy.
We just pretend to be you, and demand the very best from ourselves.
Designing sites for ourselves is an entirely different.* It's the single most difficult project we've ever done. Faced with this daunting reality, we need to honor our resouces and people that have inspired or helped us:

The Creative Team
'RealtyFolio' the site was designed and developed over a 2 week period by David Desjardins (design) and Hui Zhang (programming & database). A combination of a standard RealtyFolio Solution and a MarketFolio promotions platform, this is our first attempt at marketing ourselves. Until know, it's only been word of mouth. |

The Images that Inspire Us
Angel Hubbard Photography - for proving YET AGAIN that professional photography makes a great project even better, and for demonstrating that even an ugly mug like mine can look great.
Stock photography by www.istockphoto.com. Simply the best kept secret of web developers everywhere. Really. If you need a wicked shot for properties that don't exist quite yet, this site rules. They're pricing changed recently, which sucks, but we'll still use them. Yes, we can use an image twice. No we won't reuse an image for a client in the same market. |

The Technical Team
Binary Environments Ltd. is incorporated in Vancouver, British Columbia. It has been in operation since 1998.
With a strong foundation of server colocation, network application development, system administration, web site hosting, and design, BEL is well placed to provide excellent service from the most basic web hosting through to custom designed solutions for unique client needs.
Support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. BEL is committed to the ideal of 100% uptime, and comes very close to achieving this ideal through a high degree of redundancy in hardware, software, and upstream connections to the internet. |
And in vino veritas.
*Treating ourselves like a client is a very alien process. To begin with, we're cheap, and we're tough to deal with. We'll even try to renegotiate the price after we deliver the site to ourselves. We rarely provide our content to ourselves on time, our logos must be perfect, and our photographs look like they have been taken by a 12-year old. And worst of all, we don't return our own phone calls in a timely manner. |
